Bella Shmurda, whose real name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, is a Nigerian musician who has indicated he does not blame young people who engage in computer fraud (also known as Yahoo Yahoo).
The ‘CashApp’ singer made the remark as a guest on the Echo Room Podcast, and he neither confirmed nor denied that he was a former member of the Yahoo Boy band.
Bella asked the interviewer what internet fraud was before admitting he did not know much about the plan when asked if he had ever engaged in it.
He avoided answering the question “what happened to you in your former life?” by instead discussing how people engage in illegal activities as a means of subsistence.
According to Bella Shmurda, some people who became wealthy through internet fraud are not proud of their actions, but they did it because they needed to support their families.
