Kalani David Biography

Kalani David was born in Oahu, Hawaii, USA, on November 4, 1997. He is an actor who has been in movies like Soul Surfer (2011), Six Days in Paradise (2010), and Red Bull Signature Series (2012)



Kalani Background and Career

At the age of one and a half, he learned to surf at Jaco Beach in Costa Rica. Keoni is his younger brother (born November 25, 2005). He is supported by RVCA, T&C Surfboards, Electric, Famous Wax, Boost Mobile, FCS, S-One Helmets, Ricta Wheel Dynamics, Santa Cruz Surfboards, Watermans Applied Science, and Cholo’s Mexican Restaurant. In 2007, he won the “PROPS” award from Cartoon Network, which was decided by votes from more than a million online viewers. Cartoon Network looked all over the country for real-life kids who were talented, dedicated, and accomplished in sports, the arts, or a hobby. Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley hosted a one-hour special about him. In the special, he was surprised when skateboarding legend Bob Burnquist and pro surfer Andy Irons came to see him.



In 2008, he won his first NSSA National Surfing title in the Mini Grom division by getting a perfect score of 10 in the final.



He is David and Andrea David’s first son.

Early Life and Education

He went to the Elite Element Academy for school. In his free time, he prefers to play the drums. He began skateboarding when he was four years old. Kalani David moved to Hawai’i when he was 3 years old. He can speak English, Hawaiian, and Spanish very well.

Cause of Death

Reports say that Kalani David, a skateboarder, and surfer from Hawaii, died on September 17 while surfing in Costa Rica.

The 24-year-old died after having a seizure in the water. He had a condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
